The Beginning
Travabl started the way a lot of things do for medical families — not by choice, but by necessity.
There’s a specific kind of exhaustion that comes with being the parent who has to know everything. Not just your child’s diagnosis, but the FAA battery regulations, the airline’s medical equipment policy, which TSA lanes have the most room for a vent, whether your destination hospital stocks the same formula brand, and what happens if the concentrator alarm goes off at 30,000 feet. You become an expert in things no parent should have to become an expert in.
Travabl exists because that expertise shouldn’t have to be rebuilt from scratch by every family. The letters that actually get you on the plane. The supply math that accounts for delays. The hotel call that gets you a room that actually works. The documents that mean TSA pulls you aside instead of pulling you apart. All of it figured out across real trips, real delays, real security lines. And real moments of thinking: we actually pulled that off.
Whether you’re heading to a beach vacation your kid has been asking about for two years or flying across the country to see a specialist — your family deserves to travel with confidence. We’re here to make sure nothing gets in the way.
